From September 22 until October 6th, Faith is hosting Pastor Sippu and Congregational President Mary Salema from Mborney.  Many events are planned that will allow opportunities for multiple conversations with these representatives of our mission partnership.  Click here for a photo log of the visit

History of our partnership:

Complementing our ties in Jersey City is this Mission Partner half a world away in Tanzania. For a decade, Faith has been blessed with this relationship that has included visits from their Pastor to Faith and in the summer of 2000, a visit by an 8 member Mission Team from Faith to Africa. The Family of Faith has helped build their Sanctuary and has seen this congregation grow by hundreds of people in just a few years. Support from Faith Nursery School and the Family of Faith have built a Christian Nursery School, a granary, a parsonage, and a parish hall. Mboreny has again and again reminded us of the basics of the Gospel and we celebrate the visit of Congregational President Mary Salema and Pastor Sippu this fall. Recent projects have included refurbishing and adding to the primary school and providing resources for parish ministry.
