When youth enter grade 5 they are encouraged to attend Sunday Church School and Sunday worship on a weekly basis. The Bible and Catechism work done each week is preparatory for a daylong retreat held each Lenten season. On this retreat, students will learn about the sacrament of Holy Communion and its importance in our lives. They will study the Exodus story and learn of Jesus' Last Supper with his disciples. Bread is baked that will be used on Holy Thursday when the youth are invited for the first time to receive communion with their families.
